Access to the On-line Accident Report System offered by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office contains records which are open to public view under Wisconsin's Open Records law, sections 19.31-19.39 and 346.70(4)(f), Wisconsin Statutes.
 
Accidents occurring after January 1, 2008 are available through the on-line system. All reports before this date will require an in person request at the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office traffic desk, 821 W. State Street, Room 102, (414) 278-4712.  The traffic desk is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In no event shall the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office become liable to users of this data, or any other party, for any loss or damages, consequential or otherwise, arising from the use, operation or modification of the data. In using this data, users further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Milwaukee County for any and all liability of any nature arising out of or resulting from the lack of accuracy or correctness of the data, or the use of the data.

Note: Supplement and Witness Reports are not available on-line.  Reports which contain an "X" in these fields indicates additional information may be available.  Please contact the Traffic Desk at (414) 278-4712 for further information.
Citizens without Internet access may still receive a copy of the report in person or by mail. There is a $4.30 adminstrative fee when citizens request reports by mail or a $4.00 fee for all in-person requests.  If you do not find a report on-line, please call (414) 278-4712 to ensure that a report is on file with our agency.  Send mail requests to 821 W.
